By accessing or using ToolEnhancer (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
ToolEnhancer provides free online tools for working with images, video and audio. The tools run inside your web browser and process files locally on your device. Some tools are marked "Coming soon" and may not yet be functional.
We may add, change or remove tools and features at any time without notice.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the files you open and the results you create. Because processing happens on your device, we do not receive, store or claim any licence to your content.
You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the necessary rights to process, modify and use it — including any copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights of others.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law or the rights of others, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
- create, process or distribute unlawful, harmful, defamatory or abusive material;
- record people without the consent required by applicable law;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the website or its infrastructure;
- misrepresent the Service or resell it as your own without permission.
5. Intellectual property
The ToolEnhancer name, logo, website design and original code are owned by us or our licensors. Open-source components are used under their respective licences. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to our trademarks.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Results depend on your browser and device, and we do not guarantee that any tool will be error-free, uninterrupted or produce a particular result. Always keep a copy of your original files.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolEnhancer and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. As the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed USD 50.
8. Third-party links and components
The Service may link to or load third-party resources (such as open-source libraries). We are not responsible for third-party content or services, which are governed by their own terms.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we keep your files on your device.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of ToolEnhancer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
