A clip with the right music feels finished. Choose a video and a song, decide whether the music joins the original sound or replaces it, set where it starts and how loud it is, and preview the mix before exporting. The video itself is copied untouched, so it is quick.

Overview
Adding music means building a new audio track for the video. In Mix mode the song is combined with the video’s own sound, so voices and ambience stay while music plays underneath; separate sliders set the music and the original volume from 0 to 200%. In Replace mode the original sound is dropped and only the music remains. If a video has no sound of its own, the music simply becomes its soundtrack.
Timing controls line the music up with the picture. Music starts at sets the moment, in video time, when the song comes in, for example after an opening title. Skip into the song jumps past a long intro so the song starts at its chorus. Loop repeats the song from its beginning when it is shorter than the video, and fade in and fade out (up to 10 seconds each) ease the music in where it starts and out at the end of the video. The output always has exactly the video’s length.
Before exporting, play the video with Preview with music on. The page plays the song alongside the video, applying the same start, skip, loop, volume and fade settings as the export, so you can hear whether the beat lands where you want. Volumes above 100% play at 100% in the preview, since browsers cap playback volume, but are applied in full in the export.
The export uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly on your own computer. The video stream is copied without re-encoding, and only the new audio is encoded (AAC at 192 kbps, or Opus for WebM files), so even long clips usually finish in under a minute. The first run downloads the engine (about 31 MB), which is then cached for later and for offline use.

Use cases
Lay a favorite track under a holiday montage, keeping a little of the original sound for atmosphere with the original volume at 20–30%.
Replace wind noise and handling sounds in a walkthrough with calm background music that fades out as the video ends.
Add a song that starts on the chorus and loops to the end of a Reel or Short, with the voice-over kept clear above it.
Silent timelapses and slideshow videos get a soundtrack in seconds, since the music simply becomes the only audio.
Pro tips
Answers to common questions about the add music to video.
No. The video stream is copied unchanged, so picture quality is identical and processing is fast. Only the audio is newly encoded, at 192 kbps AAC (or Opus for WebM).
With Loop on, the song starts again from its beginning until the video ends. With Loop off, the rest of the video continues with only the original sound in Mix mode, or silence in Replace mode.
The output is trimmed to the video’s length. Add a fade out so the music ends smoothly instead of stopping mid-phrase.
Yes, up to 200% in the export. Very loud settings can distort when combined with loud original audio, so lower the original volume if the mix sounds harsh.
