Photographers, designers and online sellers often need their name or logo on every image they publish. Add a whole set of photos, design the watermark once on a large live preview, and download every image stamped in the same place at the same relative size. Your originals never leave your device.

Overview
A watermark is a visible mark that identifies the owner of an image and discourages unauthorized reuse. It is always a trade-off. A small, faint logo in a corner barely affects the photo, but it can be cropped out in seconds. A large tiled pattern across the whole picture is hard to remove, but it distracts from the image. Many photographers use subtle corner marks for portfolio pieces and stronger centered or tiled marks for client proofs.
You can use text or a logo. A text watermark starts as “© Your Name” and can be set in one of ten fonts, including Arial, Georgia, Impact and Verdana, with a bold toggle, any colour and an optional drop shadow that keeps it visible on both light and dark areas. A logo watermark uses any image you upload. A PNG with a transparent background works best, because it avoids a visible box around the mark. Text size is set from 2% to 30% of the image width, and logo size from 5% to 60%.
Placement uses a nine-point grid (four corners, four edges and the center) with a margin of 0–15% from the edge, or a Tiled mode that repeats the mark in a diagonal pattern across the whole image, with adjustable spacing. Opacity runs from 5% to 100%, and rotation from −90° to +90°. Because size and margin are relative to each image, a batch that mixes 6000 px camera files with 1200 px phone exports gets a watermark that looks the same on every photo, instead of a tiny logo on the large ones.
Everything is composited on a canvas in your browser. The first image appears in a large live preview while you adjust the settings, and every file in the batch has its own before/after compare. Download images one by one or all together as a ZIP, in the original format or as JPG, PNG, WebP or (where supported) AVIF, with a quality setting. Re-encoding also strips EXIF metadata such as camera details and GPS location. Keep your unwatermarked originals, because the mark is permanently merged into the pixels.
| Style | Suggested settings | Protection | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small corner logo | Corner position, 10–15% size, 50–80% opacity | Low | Portfolio, social media |
| Bottom-edge signature | Bottom-center text, 3–5% size, 60–80% opacity | Low | Artwork, photography posts |
| Centered logo | Center position, 30–50% size, 20–40% opacity | Medium | Stock previews, listings |
| Diagonal text | Center, rotation −30° to −45°, 25–40% opacity | Medium to high | Client proofs |
| Tiled pattern | Tiled mode, 15–30% opacity | High | Unpaid proofs, previews |
Add the photos you want to watermark. You can drop in a whole batch at once.
Choose Text and type your name or brand, or choose Logo and upload an image (a transparent PNG is best).
Set the font, colour and size, then pick a position on the nine-point grid or switch to Tiled.
Adjust opacity, rotation and margin while watching the live preview of the first image.
Check individual photos with before/after compare, choose the output format and quality, and download each file or a ZIP.
Use cases
Send wedding or portrait proofs with a tiled, low-opacity watermark. Clients can pick their favorites, but the unpaid images aren’t usable.
Stamp your shop logo in a corner of every marketplace listing photo in one batch, so copied images still point back to your store.
Add a small “© Your Name” signature at the bottom edge of artwork or photography before sharing it on Instagram, Behance or a portfolio site.
Brand a full set of property photos with the agency logo at the same position and relative size, even when the photos come from different cameras.
Pro tips
Answers to common questions about the watermark adder.
Corner watermarks can be cropped, and AI inpainting can erase small marks on simple backgrounds. Larger semi-transparent marks over detailed areas, rotated text, and tiled patterns are much harder to remove cleanly.
Yes. Size and margin are percentages of each image’s width, so a 6000 px photo and a 1200 px photo get a proportionally identical watermark in the same relative position.
Any image works, but a PNG with a transparent background is recommended. It lets the photo show around the edges of your logo instead of a solid rectangle. Use a logo file that is at least as large as it will appear on your biggest photos.
Only the area under the watermark changes. Saving re-encodes the image, though, so with JPG, WebP or AVIF choose a high quality setting to avoid visible loss. PNG is lossless.
No. Re-encoding the watermarked image strips EXIF metadata, including camera settings and GPS location. This is useful for privacy when you publish photos online.
